The Phoenix Fund
The people’s community fund — and how to support the work while it is built
A launch project — built by its supporters
The Phoenix Charter is more than a petition; it is a project to be built. Its funds, platforms, and civic devices are still being created, and that takes resources. Until the dedicated fund accounts are live, support is received through the active BizKit-Tin Fund — and during this launch phase every contribution, from this page or any other, goes first toward building the device platforms. Once those platforms are built, these placeholder pages are replaced by the working devices themselves.
What the Phoenix Fund Is
The Phoenix Fund is the people’s community fund: donations pooled by the people and gifted out as grants to community projects worldwide — a standing source anyone may apply to, and one of the Charter’s six strictly separated funds. The full account of what it is and how it stays accountable is on the Fund Transparency page.
Support the Work — For Now
This is a temporary, openly-stated arrangement. The moment the dedicated Phoenix Fund account is live, support moves to it — and a running record is kept in the meantime, so every contribution can be reconciled cleanly and posted to the Phoenix Ledger. Nothing is hidden; nothing is mixed except to get started, because without the start, none of the rest can follow.
What Your Support Pays For — Right Now
At this stage, support goes straight into the foundations: hosting and keeping the site live, the build of the platforms and their civic devices, and the groundwork everything else depends on. This is the unglamorous part — the part that has to exist before a single grant can be given or a single vote cast. Every contribution brings the rest of the Charter one step closer to real.
A Word of Thanks
If you give, you are not a customer and not an investor — you are among the first to put a hand to something meant to belong to everyone. The Charter began as one person’s idea, carried a long way against the odds. Your support is what turns it from an idea into something the public can hold. Thank you.
