The Crowd-Device

The universal participation engine — in development

In development

The Crowd-Device is being built. This page will become the working engine itself — the live device. It is not yet operational, and bringing it into existence is the foundational work everything else depends on.

What This Page Will Become

When it is built, this page is the Crowd-Device in its working form: the universal public-participation engine by which a verified public can fund, decide, act, and deliver without gatekeepers. One simple mechanic — a token, measured against a threshold, producing an outcome — applied across every domain it touches.

This is the core engine. Its application to self-governance — the people’s standing power exercised through the same mechanism — lives separately as the Civic-Crowd-Device. Both are the one invention, turned to different purposes.

Understand It While It Is Built

Although the device is not yet live, the full picture of what it is and where it came from already is:

  • Backstory — how the Crowd-Device came to be — three decades of invention, suppression, and the road to public custody.
  • Reference — the precise definition: its mechanic, its domains, its boundaries, and the exact terms used to describe it.
  • Crowd-Device v Digital ID — how the genuine engine differs from the inverted forms — Digital ID, CBDC, and behavioural scoring — that turned its logic against the public.

Why It Needs Funding First

A working engine of this kind — secure, auditable, built to carry real public participation at scale — has to be developed, tested, and hardened before it can be trusted with a single decision. That development is the bottleneck: until the engine exists, none of the systems built on it can follow.

The commercial development of the Crowd-Device is funded through the BizKit-Tin Fund, the commercial arm dedicated to building and deploying it. Supporting that fund is what brings the engine into existence.
